Kurt Cobain by =Rockkar is a beautifully executed tribute to Kurt Cobain. The hair and smoke really caught my eye. (

Amazing job. I really like the fact that you have the cigerette as the main focal point of the whole picture and that you discreetly blended the background into the picture so the two colours don't contrast eachother too much. I alson like the way that you kept the facial shading very soft on the face so it's noticable but not as noticable as a weard looking tan, a very good job! I agree with about the fact that you kept the clothes very bland compared to the rest of the picture and I think that is where you need improvement. You are very talented, great job
The art work is one of the best i have seen of the songwriting/guitar/vocal god.
As far as negative critique goes: Try to focus on the clothing more. It looks very drab and basic, especially the shirt. The button on the jacket as well could use some help. Next time try capturing more toning in the hair (i know hair can be really tricky, so all together, good job.)
On the other hand: The ciggerette seems to be the focal point of the picture, and you did do a speldid job at capturing it. From the smoke, to ten end of the ciggy, all the way to how it is postured in kurts mouth are just amazing. In fact, everything painted around that areais quite grand. The lips are pretty fantastic, and the hairs on the chin i would have to give a 10/10 too. the sunken in cheek is pretty detaitled as well. I like the background, it gives him a kind of "holy" look. As well, the light shining through the hair is quite amazing.
And on a personal note, thanks for making kurt look like kurt and not a beefed up version of kurt. You have captured his sorrow in a soulful sort of way.
